Refund & Returns Policy
Each NKLR piece is carefully selected, designed or made with the intention of being worn and treasured for years to come.
Change of Mind
Please choose carefully, as NKLR does not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.
For made-to-order, customised or bespoke pieces, cancellations, returns or exchanges are not available once production has begun, except where required by New Zealand law.
If you have any questions about a piece, sizing, gemstones or specifications before placing your order, we encourage you to contact us at hello@nklrjewellery.co.nz so we can help you make your selection with confidence.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
All NKLR jewellery is carefully inspected before dispatch. If your piece arrives faulty, damaged, does not match its description, or you believe there is a manufacturing issue, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at hello@nklrjewellery.co.nz with your order details and photographs of the issue.
Where applicable, we will assess the piece and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Depending on the nature and seriousness of the issue, this may include a repair, replacement or refund.
Please contact NKLR before arranging any third-party repair or alteration, as modifications made by another jeweller may affect our ability to assess the original issue.
Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable New Zealand consumer law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Terms of service
Warranty
Every NKLR piece is covered by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing faults from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase may be required.
Manufacturing faults do not include normal wear and tear, accidental damage, improper care, tarnishing or fading of finishes, broken chains, damage to gemstones, or bending of rings or earrings.
Where damage is not covered by our warranty, we may offer repairs at cost. An estimate will be provided for approval before any repair work begins, and the client is responsible for associated shipping costs.
We strongly recommend returning NKLR pieces to us for resizing and repairs. Our warranty does not cover damage or faults caused by alterations or repairs performed by another jeweller.
Nothing in this warranty limits your rights under applicable New Zealand consumer law.
Intellectual Property
NKLR retains ownership of all original designs, including collection pieces, bespoke and custom designs created for clients. This includes the right to reproduce, develop, photograph and display these designs.
Purchase of an NKLR piece does not transfer any intellectual property rights in its design.
Insurance Replacement Policy
NKLR Jewellery does not provide insurance replacement or reconstruction services for jewellery originally designed, manufactured, or sold by other jewellers. We only offer replacement services for pieces originally produced and sold by NKLR Jewellery.
